Brew #66: Rambler’s Amber Bitter

March 4, 2014

Lately I’ve been rinsing with 9L instead of the usual 6-7L as the efficiency has increased with the new mash schedule I’ve been using lately. Today my pre-boil target was 1043° (post-boil being 1047°) but I got 1045° indicating 1049° post-boil. With 31L coming to the boil that spells around 95 per cent mash efficiency on paper.
