Tasting notes #22: KesäWehnä (Hefeweizen)

This brew was almost exactly the same as my previous Hefeweizen except with a bit more wheat, some Munich added and the yeast was Danstar Munich Wheat instead of Safbrew WB-06.  It looks the business:

On every level this version is less and I put it down to yeast. It is dryish but with some malty sweetness (Munich malts?). No banana, no cloves, no tartness. The only redeeming features of this technically sound beer are the dryness and the fact that it’ll slip down nicely should the heat wave hit Tavastland. I’ll be using WB-06 for my Hefeweizens in the future.
