Brew #1: ESB

September 2, 2011

Finally had the equipment and ingredients  in place early June so decided to brew something very English and fairly strong. But first a few words on the equipment and the process. I have got a 20 litre version of Speidel Braumeister, immerse chiller, 2 fermentors, all kind of paraphernalia so I brew all-grain. When I bottle I use about 1.5 litres of wort to further ferment and carbonate in the bottle. I have brewed 7 times now so I have some catching up to do, hence the lack of babble in the next few posts.
